Work was a lot better today. Most of the staff were people from the SW shop, so it felt a lot more comfortable working with them :) And i got to work with the zai auntie again! :)

As usual, Christmas eve is a really busy time at the shop. Although we were supposed to close at 4pm, customers still kept coming till 6! It was highly annoying for us cos we all wanted to go home, but were hindered from our clearing up duties by customers blatantly ignoring the sign on the door, the fact that the main lights were off, signs of people cleaning up etc. The worst was when these 2 customers, even after being told we only do take away orders, decided to sit down in the unlit seating area to eat, even while my friend was mopping the floor just a couple of tables away! Seriously! Which part of "take away" do they not get?

And then Boss wanted to make a lot of ice cream in preparation for the weekend, having sold much of our stock due to the holiday season. So we were churning ice cream the whole day, even long after we (supposedly) closed. By the time everything was finished, it was already 6.30pm. My mother was not happy... Not that we did anything special for Christmas eve...

I was so super tired after i got home. Today was an 8 hour shift. And then i counted and realised that i actually did a 9 hour shift on Tuesday. Isn't it impressive? Haha :P

Thankful for: Working with the usual bunch today :)
