Chic-ka-boom lunch and post camp gathering

Yay today was super fun! :)

It started out with a small gathering of Chic-ka-boomers for lunch at Raffles City. Not a bad turnout considering that it was so last minute. Haha :) We also got the chance to see Phyllis play her harp! :D Haha. After lunch, we headed to Raffles Hotel with her were she was supposed to play at the Tiffin room. We couldn't go in, so we just stood outside the window to watch her. Haha :) And she still managed to wave bye to us when we waved at her! Wahaha! :)

Next we headed to meet the rest of the group to go to Tok's house. There were a lot of people waiting at the MRT when we arrived, some from other groups too. And our dear organiser was the last one to arrive! Haha!

After much waiting, we walked to Tok's house together by the long way. We really should have taken the shortcut by the canal, but since none of us have walked there before (i had the privilege of being chauffeured every time :P) we ended up going by the main road and then twisting and turning around the maze of houses before reaching. Basically, a 10 minute walk turned into a half hour one :P

We played the 7 levels of idiot heart attack and the MRT game. Goodness. I don't think i've ever played any game till the whole group was this high before! :D By the end of the games, i got an even worse throat compared to the whole of camp! :P I guess it really makes a difference playing with people you are familiar with as compared to playing these games in camp, where everyone is still new and inhibited :)

Much of the night was spent chatting with the group and other friends :) I had some really good conversations that night, especially with YX and Mer :) Got to catch up a bit with the old people too :) And had chocolate fondue! :D

We were so busy chatting that we ended up leaving really late, despite having wanted to leave early! We were one of the last few to leave lor! And then came the thrilling ride as Mer gave a bunch of us a lift home :D

This was seriously a super fun day :) Really wanted it to last longer so that i'd have more time to hang out with everyone :)

Yet it is also gatherings like this that make me feel very sad... Because i can see all that i have to leave behind...
