My mother is afraid that we are carrying the H1N1 virus so she's pretty much quarantining herself, and us, somewhat. We didn't even go to church today. And she and my dad went to ntuc with masks on. Haha. Yet when i came home from HK and Japan, she didn't make a fuss at all. Hmm.

I just got word from my boss that she doesn't want me to work tomorrow. Haha. Too few days since i've returned :P

I spent most of today going through camp proposals. Last night Daphy msn-ed me about the desperate situation camp is in now. If Daphy is getting so stressed out about it, it's definitely worth getting stressed out over :P

I don't know how many people read this blog, but i'll just make my appeal here.

Psych camp needs facis! We are DESPERATE. For the first time in psych camp history, and i believe SWAPS camp too, we have an overwhelming number of campers wanting to join us. We currently have over 70 campers signed up for camp, and another 10 on the waiting list, so i hear. And we have NOT ENOUGH FACILITATORS! (Not to mention not enough funds :P)

We are a small society who wants to give the best to our campers, to help them as they start their journey in NUS, to help them make friends so that they won't have to go to class alone, to help them build connections with seniors who will be able to advise them in future, to give them a sense of belonging in this large and sometimes lonely school.

I got my start in camp 4 years ago, and it is still one of my fondest memories of uni life. Many of the friends i still hang out with in year 4, i got to know from camp. We want to give our campers such fond memories too. So if you are at all available from 6-9 July, please come and join us as a faci!

If you are working, try to take leave. If you are not working, why not do something useful with your time? If you're graduating, it's not a problem cos i am too! We can take the day off to go for graduation together :)
