A new environment, but everything seems so familiar.

The only difference is that the staff now are made up mostly of new people whom i don't know. But i'm glad that there are at least a few old faces :) Due to manpower shortage, there are less people working, though, so things are a lot quieter than they used to be.

On to a more interesting (to me) story...

Someone posted a link to a video clip of a segment featuring Tegomasu on Taiwan MTV and asked what they were saying. On the spur of the moment, i went and typed out a translation of the clip to reply her. Can you believe it? I translated a Chinese clip to English! Hahaha!

Actually, it's sort of Chinese and Japanese. Cos they spoke in Japanese and there were Chinese subtitles and sometimes the subtitles aren't exactly what they were saying in Japanese, so i had to adjust the translation.

I felt so accomplished! Haha!

Subbing a clip is one of the 27 things on my list from Absolut. This isn't really counted since it's translated from Chinese mostly. Hopefully one day, i can actually do it :)

Story hasn't ended yet btw.

The person who posted the clip asked for permission to share my translation when she shared the video herself and i agreed. And to cut the long story short, my translation ended up being posted alongside the video on her site and cross posted on the fandoms. Somehow it didn't occur to me that my lousy translation would be shown to so many people :P

But there's a thrill of having my work out there, wondering whether people will like it or laugh at my lousy translation. And it feels good to see my username there being credited for it :) Made me pretty happy :)
